Acknowledged as one of the world’s outstanding violinists, Dmitry Sitkovetsky is the son of famed pianist Bella Davidovich. After studies at the Moscow Conservatoire and the Juilliard School of Music, he commenced an extraordinary career which has seen him perform with all the world’s great orchestras, including the Berlin, New York and Los Angeles Philharmonics, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Concertgebouw, the Chicago, Philadelphia and Cleveland orchestras, as well as all the major London orchestras. His extensive recording repertoire includes all the major violin concertos, and he has worked with a diverse range of musical colleagues including Martha Argerich, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yevgeny Kissin and Mischa Maisky.

Japanese-American Ryu Goto made his debut at the age of just 7 at the Pacific Music Festival in Japan performing Paganini’s First Concerto. Now 24 and a superstar in Japan, he has already performed with the London Philharmonic and Philharmonia Orchestras, the Washington National Symphony, Bamberg Symphony, Vienna Symphony and the European Union Youth Orchestra under conductors including Vladimir Ashkenazy and Myung Whun Chung. Next season he will perform Paganini’s First Concerto with the Munich Philharmonic under Lorin Maazel. His recordings for DGG include the Brahms Violin Concerto conducted by Ashkenazy. Ryu Goto has a BA degree in physics from Harvard University and a black belt in karate. He performs on the Duke of Cambridge Stradivarius violin.
